About
Melissa is the proud owner of Murtle’s Handmade Chocolates. Born and raised in Sandusky, MI, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a Certificate in Direct Marketing from Ferris State University. She is also a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Melissa lives in St. Charles, MI, with her husband, Harvey, their young son, Eli, and their two beloved dogs, Norman and Mindi.

Meghan was born and raised right here in Owosso! Meghan has a number of years of culinary experience and has worked with Melissa for several years on other ventures. “Meghan brings our chocolates to a whole new level! She makes most things better than I do now!” says owner Melissa Wheeler.
